Montgomery GI Bill - Active Duty
Montgomery GI Bill-Active Duty provides funds for education and training to veterans and members of the military who enrolled in the program and have a high school diploma or equivalent (a GED, or in some cases, 12 credits of college coursework). The veteran receives a monthly payment from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for tuition. This payment can also be used for housing, books, supplies, fees, and other related expenses.
